The impact of sanctions on food security of the state

On the basis of the study revealed the importance of sanctions in terms of market relations. Sanctions losses for Russians and countries-initiators of sanctions from the period of 2014 to the present time are defined. The key aspects characterizing the food security of the Russian Federation are highlighted, its comparative analysis with a number of other countries is carried out. Different views of experts on the impact of sanctions on food security are highlighted. The author’s hypothesis of sanctions influence and their consequences for the food security of the agrarian sector of the Russian economy is presented.
