The article is devoted to topical issues of the formation of computer dependency in the primary school age and the influence of family factors on the formation of this dependency. The generalized results of an empirical research of the influence of family factors (computer dependency of parents and types of incorrect upbringing) on the formation of a computer dependency in younger schoolchildren are presented.
