The studies were carried out on lactating cows in the conditions of the industrial complex of "Saburovo", Orel Region. As a research object, White-and-Black Holsteinized cows of the second lactation were used. In the experiment, the average daily milk yield and protein spectrum of milk were studied as a criterion of its quality. The experiment was carried out in 4 groups of lactating cows. The animals of the first group (control) received the main feed ration (MR); the second group - MR + root vegetables of carrots + lecithin; the third group - the main ration (MR) + fruits of the pumpkin + lecithin; the fourth group - MR + root vegetables of carrots + fruits of pumpkin + lecithin. The preparations were fed to lactating cows for 30 days once a day. By the end of the experiment, the concentration of total protein, total casein and whey proteins in the milk of the first group of animals did not change significantly; while in the milk of animals of the 2nd experimental group, the indicators of total protein increased by 11%; total casein - by 33%; whey proteins - by 54%; in the milk of animals of the 3rd experimental group, the indicators of total protein increased by 12.9%; total casein - by 34%; whey proteins - by 56%; in the milk of animals of the 4th experimental group, indicators of total protein increased by 14%; total casein - by 49%; whey proteins - by 58%. In the experimental groups of cows (2nd, 3rd, 4th), the increase in the average daily milk yield by 30 days of the experiment was 4%; 6.5% and 7.5%, respectively. Thus, the information obtained on the positive effect of the combined use of root crops of carrots, pumpkin and lecithin, fed in addition to the main diet of highly productive cows, on the protein spectrum of milk and average daily milk yield indicates the feasibility of using these agents as adaptogens in industrial conditions.
