Influence of the socio-political processes on the transformation of the gender and age structure of population (case study of Kuban and Stavropol areas in the 1930-1950's)

The article was prepared on the basis of the archival materials and documents regarding demographic statistics, a part of which is introduced for the scientific use for the first time ever. The author deals with changes in the gender and age structure of population of the Kuban and Stavropol regions during the 1930–1950-s, and the impact of social and political factors on this process.
