The purpose of the work is to study the role of informal leaders as a social structure on the management of the organization. The main approaches to the interpretation of the term “informal leader” are considered. The main qualities that an informal leader possesses are analyzed. The rules following which will allow the manager to attract an informal leader to his side are offered. In the conclusion of the work is made about the need for the manager to monitor the mood within the team and with special attention to monitor the emergence of an informal leader within the team, because the correct use of its capabilities will bring a lot of benefits to the organization.
