Influence of the binary fuel on the combustion process in the engine with volumetric autoignition caused by compression

Бесплатный доступ

Model of the binary fuel combustion process in which combustion processes for each component are described separately has been developed. Both processes occur simultaneously according to the laws of chemical kinetics using variable activation energies. HCCI engine cycle calculations fueled with the dimethyl ether and methane mixture were carried out. Phlegmatic influence of methane on the autoignition capability of the dimethyl ether was analyzed.
