The impact of modern trends in the development of society on the formation of competences of the head of an educational organization

Due to the change in the structure of educational institutions, the method of managing these educational institutions also requires changes. The article discusses the impact of changes in modern society on the professional competencies of the head of an educational organization. Competences must be selected in accordance with modern requirements in order to meet the challenges of our time. The success of an adequate development of the management system of an educational organization is based on the availability and provision of a quality level of education. Moreover, the effectiveness of the modernization of educational structures, both as a whole and in a single institution, directly depends on the competence and activity of the head, in accordance with his qualifications. The author concludes that professional competence of a modern leader is an integral attribute of the head of each individual institution; therefore, it is important to approach its formation and selection consciously and in accordance with the trends of social, cultural and economic development of society.
