In the article, the author draws attention to the positive impact of regular sports activities on the physical and mental component of a modern person. Sport plays a huge role in the life of every individual. It helps to strengthen health, improve well - being, develop physical fitness and learn how to work in a team. The purpose of this work is to analyze the positive aspects of sports and study the impact of physical activity on important aspects of psycho - emotional and cognitive well - being. At the same time, special importance is attached to sports as a means of strengthening and improving the human body. To achieve maximum results, it is necessary to combine aerobic and strength training, monitor proper nutrition and sleep. Sport requires a balanced approach and consideration of the individual characteristics of each person. Physical benefits are possible only from moderate loads. Therefore, according to the author, it is important to adhere to the principle of reasonableness when exercising in order to promote health.
