Influence of methods of soil treatments and fertilizer application on sunflower productivity on light-brown soil in arid zone of Northern Caucasus

The influence of methods of soil treatments and fertilizer application on productivity of varieties R-453 (Rodnik), Berezansky and hybrid Kubansky 930 was studied on light-brown soil in northern-eastern zone of Stavropol region. The maximal yield of varieties R-453 (Rodnik), Berezansky and hybrid Kubansky 930 is formed at moldboard plowing at the depth 20-22 cm in autumn and application ^0Р30 in planting. In this case, seed yield is up to 1.30-1.50 t ha-1 and oil yield up to 0.50-0.60 t ha-1.
