The impact of methods of fertilizer application on sunflower productivity and consumption of nutrient elements on leached chernozem

In 2005-2007, we studied the impact of fertilizer application on leached chernozem for seed treatment, when sowing, using foliar spraying, as well as combinations of these methods using two hybrids (Triumph, Jupiter) and two varieties (Buzuluk, Albatros) of sunflower for the number of filled seeds in the head, thousand-seed weight, accumulation of dry overground vegetative plant mass and seed weight per area unit, nutrient content in seeds and vegetative mass, and other indicators. We established that, in comparison with control, applied fertilizers contributed to the increase in the number of filled seeds in the head by 68-180 pieces, thousand-seed weight - by 1.3-3.0 g, seed weight accumulation - by13-55 g/m2, dry mass of vegetative plant organs - by 32-81 g/m2, seed yield - by o.13-0.36 t/ha, seeds intake of nitrogen - by 2.6-15.7 kg/ha, seeds intake of phosphorus - by 1.1-3.6 kg/ha, seeds intake of potassium - by 5.7-4.5 kg/ha, intake of nitrogen by seeds and vegetative mass - by 4...
