The influence of family upbringing styles on the personality orientation of older adolescents

In this article, the influence of different parenting styles on the personality development of older adolescents is examined. The main types of parenting styles – authoritarian, democratic, and permissive – and their effects are considered. The research results emphasize the importance of harmonious family relationships for the successful development of personality and social adaptation of older adolescents.
