Influence of Strategic Planning and Territorial Zoning on the Legal Regime of a Land Plot

The article examines the impact of strategic planning and territorial zoning on the legal regime of land plots in the Russian Federation. The importance of effective use of land resources for ensuring socio-economic stability and security of the country is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between territorial zoning and land categorization, as well as the issue of possible replacement of the institution of land categorization by territorial zoning. It is concluded that the land category remains the basic provision defining the legal regime of land plots. It is also noted that the acts regulating the process of planning territorial development have a significant impact on the legal regime of land plots and set the vector for reforming legislation in the field of land relations regulation.
