Influence of stress factors on risk of suicidal behavior in patients with mental disorders

During examination of 550 patients hospitalized into psychiatric institution associated with suicidal behavior, we have revealed basic variants of mechanisms of influence of psychotraumatizing factors on clinical structure and dynamic of mental disorders and their role in formation of motivation of suicidal behavior. We have identified dependence between acuity and depth of psychotic state and mediated through personality structures by influence of psychotrauma on motivation of suicidal behavior.
