The impact of the «prohibition» on the welfare of the population during the First World War

In this paper the effect of the "Prohibition" on the welfare during the First World War is investigated. The findings of this study allowed not only to clarify some issues related to the historical situation in Russia during1914-1917 y., but also to give a deeper understanding of the processes taking place in Russia in the early of 20 th century.
