Effect of free carriers on dielectric properties of crystals KNbO3

The temperature and frequency dependences of the dielectric constant and tg conductive crystals KNbO3, doped with Sm, are researched. It is shown that the presence of free carriers leads to a significant increase in both the real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant. The real part of the dielectric constant during cooling after heating to the paraphase, is significantly less than during heating, while for tg an inverse relationship is observed.
