Influence of temperature on the stability of well walls

Бесплатный доступ

The proposed work considers the problem of the influence of temperature on the stability of well walls taking into account reservoir pressure. It is known that as the mining of the massif deepens, the temperature of the rocks increases. Considering that the temperature change for deep wells is significant, when determining the stress-strain state of the near-wellbore part, it is necessary to take into account the influence of temperature stresses. In the near-trunk zone, the stress state consists of two parts; from the initial stresses that arise due to the own weight of the rocks and from the stresses that arise due to excess pressure inside the well. In the case under consideration, temperature stresses are added to the listed stresses. It should be noted that temperature stresses in rocks arise before drilling wells, and they can be classified as initial stresses. The stressed state of the near-wellbore zone was determined and the critical value of excess pressure was obtained for soil lying at a certain depth, at which plastic deformations occur on the well wall.
