The effect of heat treatment on the textural properties of montmorillonite of Muhortala deposit was studied. XRD analysis shows that heat treatment at 500°C leads to formation of anhydrous modification of montmorillonite due to dehydration and dehydroxylation. According to the data of По данным низкотемпературной адсорбции азота low-temperature nitrogen adsorption thermal treatment of montmorillonite at 500°C leads to decrease of surface area and pore volume.
