The article discusses the impact of types of employment (full, partial and its absence (unemployed)) on the motivational structure of the individual and the decision-making strategies inherent in individuals. The identified features of each of the studied types of employment are described, as well as statistically significant gender`s differences in the motivational structure of the individual and in decision-making strategies are shown.
