Influence of labor on the growth of capital in society

This scientific paper aims to understand labour as a conscious human activity, its impact on goods and services produced by labor - their cost, usefulness, the complexity of production and their impact on economic growth. The main question of the article is: how a person’s work activity affects the general welfare of society. There is a concept of labor from the standpoint of philosophers and publicists - Adam Smith and Karl Marx and the concept of the relation of the labor theory of value to the price of goods produced. There is also a presentation of professors of the Shanghai University of Economics and Finance on the ratio of labour costs and the value of the goods produced by labor in various economic systems. The article explains how the efficiency of labor, the ratio of productive and unproductive labor to the exchange value of a commodity can increase. The conclusion explains the efficiency of production in society, the ratio of the cost of labor to the value of the goods received, and Adam Smith's opinion about labor as the reason for the increase in wealth in society.
