The article explores the interconnection between income level and person’s attitude to money. The question about conditionality of monetary relations income and the different character of this relationship in groups that differ by gender was raised. The study identified the main factors determining the attitude towards money among respondents: "Financial concerns","Financial pragmatism", "Financial vanity", "Thrift / avarice". The similarities in relation to the money between different groups of respondents were revealed. This similarity is manifested itself in a positive relationship between increasing income and reducing the severity of the financial concerns of the financial pragmatism and the growth of financial vanity. For both men and women, the concern about financial position depends on the income level directly. Difference in the relation to money depending on wealth manifested in the fact that people with high incomes are not concern about their financial situation, less anxious about money, not so materialistic and frugal. They have higher levels of financial vanity and the importance of monetary values, compared to less affluent respondents. Found that psychological stress in men and women - for their own financial situation manifests itself at different levels of income.
