Influence of the level of mineral nutrition on productivity, accumulation and composition of oil in flax seeds in the Leningrad region

In the Leningrad region on humus-carbonate soil, under the natural moisture and application of mineral fertilizers in N30P40K60 dose annually, it is possible to receive oil flax seeds yield at a level 2.5 t per ha. In the region, the variety Severny has the highest oil content in seeds - 41%, that is 3.7% higher compared to the varieties LM 98 and Norlin. The highest content of unsaturated α-linolenic acid was observed in the flax variety Severny at the level of 56-57%, which is 2% more in comparison to the variety Norlin. The variety LM 98 is characterized with a high content of linoleic acid (72-74%) and can be used for food purposes.
