Impact of videogaming on the social and psychological peculiarities of students in vocational educational organizations

The article considers risks and threats appearing during the process of videogaming and their relation to consciousness, thinking and health of students in various educational organizations including vocational education. The material of the research is based on the online survey covering 156 respondents. The researchers studied the users’ reactions and the degree of understanding the risks of videogame destructive impact. Authors especially mark that students of vocational educational establishments eagerly percept aggressive content of videogames and receive less negative emotions from videogaming than other categories of respondents. Besides, such students use game realities as the way to eliminate inner aggression and exhaustion. The authors draw the conclusion that on the whole users understand the degree of risks, but they are certain that the can handle the appearing problems on their own.
