The article examines the virtual environment as a socio-psychological factor affecting the aggressiveness of adolescents. At the same time, a comparative analysis of the features of the manifestation of aggression in normo-typical adolescents and adolescents with mental retardation with the help is carried out. empirical research based on the developed author's tools. Aggressive behavior of children in adolescence is a serious psychological, social and pedagogical problem today. In addition to teachers, parents and classmates, the child himself first of all suffers from aggression, since such a character trait, acquiring stability, negatively affects the processes of personal development and socialization of the student in subsequent age periods.
