The influence of thermodynamic properties of the environment on the take-off characteristics of the wing airfoil are considered. Numerical studies were carried out both in dry and wet air, which modeled as two-component environment, consisting of air and water’s vapour in various proportions. The influence of air wetness on maximum lift, drag and critical angle of attack are presented.
