Influence of international exhibitions on the development of museum and exhibition business (18th century - 1917)

The article considers influence of world exhibitions on the development of museum and exhibition business. The examples of using objects left after holding world exhibitions are considered and the museums where the collections or objects were transmitted to in the period from the 18th century to 1917 are pointed out.
