Influence of high levels of supporting pressure ventilation (PSV) on heart index among patients undergone radical correction of tetralogy of Fallot after previous systemic pulmonary shunts

The main attention has been paid to the investigation of the effect of high levels of PSV on the systemic hemodynamics, and namely on the heart index among the children with Tetralogy of Fallot. Optimal levels of PSV for the significant increase of heart ejection at the moment when patients are transferred to spontaneous ventilation are revealed.
