The paper presents a review of studies of corrosion wear of superheater pipes. The mechanism of the occurrence of high-temperature corrosion of heat transfer surfaces in the boiler furnace and its effect on the operation of coal, oil-fired boilers and boilers in which vegetable waste is burned is shown. The article also provides an analytical justification for solutions to reduce corrosion and the formation of fistulas in the heat-absorbing surfaces of a steam boiler.
