Donor Relationship Management (DRM) is a strategic approach that nonprofit organizations use to develop and maintain strong and long-term relationships with donors. Such actions may include tracking interactions with donors, examining their preferences and funding models, recognizing their contributions, and providing meaningful information about the results of their support. Effective donor relationship management helps to retain donors because they feel valued and respected. Personalized and consistent communication builds trust and loyalty, turning one-time donors into permanent supporters. Using the donor management software helps nonprofit organizations track this data and automate the sending of personalized messages. A convenient database enables to track and understand the preferences and behavior of donors. Thanks to detailed information about the history of interaction with each donor, his/her participation in past events and areas of interest, a nonprofit organization can adapt its communication and interaction strategies to the specific needs of the benefactors.
