The article analyzes the potential of using artificial intelligence (AI) at various stages of design project development in the field of industrial design. Key AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Vizcom, and Stable Diffusion are examined, and their effectiveness is substantiated for each stage of the design process, including requirements analysis, design research, idea generation, sketching, 3D modeling, and the creation of photorealistic images. The benefits of AI for process optimization, time reduction, and expanding creative possibilities are highlighted. Conclusions are made regarding the necessity of combining AI with the professional skills of the designer to achieve the best project outcomes.
