The article deals with the implementation of 1C technologies in the educational process and its impact on the development of student industrial skills. The relevance of the study stems from the contradictions between the academic education of graduates and practical requirements of the digital economy. Employers are interested in specialists proficient in specific tools for automating business processes, among which the 1C platform is an industry standard. The article provides a rationale for integrating 1C technologies into the educational process to develop relevant industrial competencies in students and describes its mechanisms. We have defined a set of developing industrial skills, described specific methodological solutions, the experience of successful implementing 1C software products in educational institutions, and systematized the stages of implementing 1C technologies: from updating curricula and faculty professional development to practice-oriented classes and cross-cutting projects. It has been proven that integration of 1C technologies into educational programs is an effective tool that helps bridge the gap between university training and real-world business challenges, significantly increasing the competitiveness of future graduates in the labour market.
