The article deals with the development of new assessment practices, the use of different assessment tools, new teaching approaches. Application of the criteria-based assessment system at school focuses on encouraging the student to strive for objective control, but not to conceal their ignorance and inability, on the formation of needs in an adequate and constructive self-assessment.
