Foreign-economic activity of macroregion: theoretical aspects of studies

The article focuses on theoretical issue of large-scale regional economic system spatial characteristics. Macroregions are considered functional areas of international economic integration. The correlation of formal subnational system establishment to corporative integration objective processes is emphasized. It is noted that foreign-economic strategic planning of macroregions should be carried out by means of applying mechanisms and institutions of corporative integration.
