Foreign policy orientation of the dagestan governors to Russia in the period of Russo-Persian (1804-1813) and Russo-Turkish (1806-1812) wars

In the article the reasons for strengthening orientation of the majority of the Dagestan governors in the foreign policy activity to Russia at the beginning of the 19 th century are analyzed; the orientation provides them with safety guarantees and considerable economic benefits. The anti-Russian orientation of the activities of the Iranian-Turkish agencies in Dagestan and their failure is shown.
