Mongolia's foreign policy course in the 21st century

The paper reveals the concept of Mongolia's foreign policy, which is fundamentally different from the one in the Soviet period. It means, first off, a new principle of multisupport. The article deals with traditional Mongolian partners, its policy of «third neighbor» and other areas in the country's foreign policy. In the late 1990s, political and economic relations between China and Mongolia reached a high level. China has become the main external partner of Mongolia. Mongolian-Russian cooperation in the 1990s characterized by rupture of economic ties, and weakening of the political dialogue. On the path of reform, Russia and Mongolia have maintained the fraternal and friendly relations, and increased the intensity of the socio-economic and political relations in the new democratic format.
