Foreign trade activity of Russia and subjects of the federation in modern geopolitical conditions

The article examines the foreign trade activity (FTA) of Russia and the subjects of the Federation and modern geopolitical conditions. The list of the main factors determining the peculiarities of its development at the present time is considered and analyzed. These include: the pandemic, strengthening of protectionist foreign trade restrictions, development of advanced production technologies, digitalization, energy transition, etc. Based on the results of the analysis and research, the main factors of influence on the national economy and foreign trade of Russia and the subjects of the Federation in modern geopolitical conditions are identified and clarified, priorities in the importance of their influence are substantiated, and the most likely consequences of the impact of these factors on the development of international relations of our country in the field of trade with the countries of the Western bloc and in the alternative market - with the countries of Asia, Latin America, Africa in the short and long term prospect , which is the scientific novelty of this study and determines its relevance.
