External vassals of the Qing empire: the policy of the Manchu authorities with respect to the Khalkha nobles

The article examines the policy of the Manchurian rulers in relation to the aristocracy of the Khalkha during the reign of the Qing dynasty. The authors investigate the system of titles and positions developed by the Qing government for the Mongolian elite and analyze the Mongolian territories government system under Qing rule, classification of administrative structures of Outer Mongolia in that period.
