The domestic market of the Russian Federation under the conditions of sanctions restrictions

This paper addresses the issues related to the impact of sanctions imposed by “unfriendly countries” on the domestic market of the Russian Federation. It considers the approaches taken by domestic researchers and development institutions towards defining the concept of the “internal market”, as well as the impact of these sanctions on the development of Russia's domestic market. The paper also examines the goals and objectives set by the government of the Russian Federation to reduce import dependence on unfriendly countries and increase economic sovereignty and technological independence. Based on this analysis, several aspects that may have a negative impact on the Russian economy have been identified.The authors propose specific strategies for managing individual aspects of the Russian internal market in the face of sanctions pressure.
