The interior semantics of contrast from the point of view of the categorical-logical approach

The article reveals the semantics of contrast as a totality of semantic and syntactic-stylistic devices organized according to the principle of contextual contrast. A distinction is made between the categories of contradiction and opposition, on the basis of which the internal semantics of contrast is built. Contradiction and opposition are regarded as a special type of relationship between different entities. The author considers the presented types of relations as a stable opposition.
