The military security of the Russian Federation and its current state

A systematic approach to the study of national security allows to identify its main elements and understand their role and features in its provision. These elements, first of all, are the military security, which is ensured through the implementation of strategic goals of national defense. Military security is an attribute of any state, aspiring to be a subject in world politics. It is determined by the willingness and ability of the state to reliably protect its interests and sovereignty, to resist military aggression and any other form of external pressure and blackmail from a position of strength, and also to stop attempts to unleash civil war, ethnic conflicts, violent or terrorist activities.
