The article is devoted to the analysis of the historiography of Canadian participation in the World War II. The paper examines the main trends and models of coverage and study of the world conflict in the context of Canada’s involvement in it. The study shows the evolution of the Canadian historians’ priorities, the thematic palette and specifics of the analysis of the impact of the war on Canada. The author concludes that all of them recognize the high efficiency of the Canadian military economy and its contribution to the victory, but there are quite serious differences in the assessment of the dominion’s military involvement in the conflict.
