Navy and geopolitics: from the historiography of the Soviet past

Through the context of contemporary historiography the article examines the monograph of A.A. Kilichenkov.Cold War on the high seas: foreign historiography of the Soviet Navy, 1945.1991. (Moscow, 2009). The author stresses the scientific and political actuality of that book, the wide analyses of the interpretation of American and British historians searching the Soviet naval activity in period of Cold War.
