Military-patriotic club as a means of preventing the deviant behavior of adolescents

The authors analyze the problem of prevention of deviant behavior in adolescents on the basis of a study conducted among students of the cadet class. Having lost the necessary orientation in values and ideals, adolescents demonstrate psychological characteristics that determine deviant behavior, including in the educational process of vocational educational organizations (VEO). In the article, the authors would pay attention to mainly to negative deviation, since it is dangerous for the formation of the younger generation. On the example of the activities of the military-patriotic club «Vityaz», the experience is described and a conclusion is drawn about the great pedagogical and socio-cultural potential of club forms. However, the disclosure of this potential is impossible in full without a responsible approach to this problem by all stakeholders. The authors of the article offer specific recommendations for the prevention of deviant behavior in adolescents.
