Volunteering a factor of accumulation and implementation of social capital

The article analyzes the characteristics of volunteering as a factor in the accumulation and realization of social capital. The presented studies indicate a significant positive impact of volunteerism on the development of human capital in general. Volunteering contributes to the expansion of social networks, the consolidation of these ties. It is determined that participation in volunteer activities contributes to the accumulation of social capital, an increase in the sense of social cohesion and civic potential.
