Today, the organization and holding of volunteer camps is a common practice of domestic and foreign organizations that carry out their professional activities in the field of protecting cultural heritage. In the article, the author presents a classification of specialized volunteer camps, which is based on a number of criteria, such as the goals and format of the camp, its scale, composition of participants, timing, forms of placement of volunteers, the focus of the camp, etc.
