Volunteering as a form of social activity of the population in rural areas (at the Tattinsky ulus of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia))

In this article, volunteering is considered as an element of civil society and a form of social activity of the population in rural areas. The concepts of “activity”, “social activity”, “volunteering” are revealed. Some theoretical approaches to the study of the foundations of the formation of social activity are analyzed: philosophical, socio-psychological, sociological, axiological. The thing they have in common is the recognition of a purposeful, conscious, motivated impact of the individual on society. As intermediate results of the implementation of the federal project “Social activity” in rural areas, volunteer activity in the municipal district “Tattinsky Ulus” of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is reviewed. It is represented not only by social, environmental, sports, pedagogical, socio-cultural areas of work, but also intellectual, legal assistance to citizens, support for the older generation, people with disabilities, volunteer work in the conditions of forest fires in the central regions of Yakutia, etc. It is noted that the results of the introduction of the practice of volunteer activity in the district are expressed in the successful socialization of the younger generation, the formation of spiritual and moral values, civic consciousness, patriotism among the population.
