“Cultural volunteers” of the Russian Federation as a social movement and social institution

The article considers the social movement “Cultural Volunteers” as a stage of formation and development of the youth institute of volunteering, whose activity are carried out in the implementation of sociocultural projects and initiatives in the field of culture. The authors highlight the stages of formation of the youth Institute of volunteering in the field of culture and present examples of volunteer activities on the scale of the state, analyze and identify the types of interaction between cultural institutions, higher education and the institute of volunteering. The article also describes the specifics of the activities of large public volunteer movements in Russia and describes the experience of volunteers of the Kemerovo State Institute of Culture in the development of the youth institute of volunteering in the field of culture. The article considers the motives of students’ participation in the volunteer activity of higher education institutions. The authors noted that the stages of formation and development of youth of the institute of volunteering include: information support of volunteering in the Russian Federation, the development of society volunteers engaged in volunteer work in the field of culture; implementation of socially significant projects and initiatives volunteer orientation; formation of a personnel reserve of the organisations socially cultural sphere; the Federal program “Cultural Volunteers” and youth movement in higher education.
