The second part of the article is devoted to the analysis of the military operations of combatants from the Volga region in the Trans-Balkan region during the storming of the Troyan Pass. The author also examines the interaction of Russian troops with the Bulgarian Chetniks, the attitude of Russians towards the Bulgarians and the Turkish civilians, and gives a brief overview of the post-war policy of the liberated Balkan states.
