On the question of Hegel's philosophical relationship to religious beliefs in the dialectical materialism of the late XIX - first half of the XX century

The article examines the assessment of Hegel's philosophy in dialectical materialism at the late XIX century and the first half of the XX century regarding the issue of its attitude towards religious beliefs. The main directions of his concept's interpretations of his ideas, which are distinctive for representatives of dialectical materialism, are outlined. The mutual inconsistency of some of them is shown: while most thinkers support the positions on the religiosity of Hegel's philosophy, some authors believe that under the religious shell his concept had anti-religious content. It has been pointed out that the debate over the religious or anti-religious content of Hegel's philosophy, characteristic of dialectical materialism, is largely comparable to the debates among Hegelians in the 1830s and 1840s.
