On the issue of improving the vibration drive of vibration-centric separator

The economic efficiency of grain production largely depends on the use of energy-efficient, resource-saving technological equipment that can ensure high quality of the technological process. In this regard, the paper considers a possible way to improve the vibration drive of a vibrating grain separator, which has a complex design and high operating costs. As a drive, a flat linear asynchronous electric motor is used, which allows bypassing various types of motion converters to obtain directly the translational motion of the working body, and together with elastic elements to implement an energetically efficient electric drive of vibration motion with adjustable oscillation parameters. A mathematical model of a vibration-centered grain separator with a linear electric drive is developed, which is implemented in the object-visual modeling environment MatLab (Simulink), and dependencies are obtained that characterize the parameters of the amplitude-frequency characteristics depending on the design parameters of the drive.
