Issues of use of water resources of the Kyrgyz Republic

The article examines the water resources of the Kyrgyz Republic through the prism of use, which, with the right management policies, can contribute to the economic growth of the country. Water resources management is important for the further socio-economic development of the country, where its potential plays a significant role in the economic and geopolitical security of not only our country, but also the entire Central Asian region. The water resources of the Kyrgyz Republic are completely formed on its own territory, and this is the political, economic and strategic advantage of the country. Kyrgyzstan is the only country in Central Asia with impressive water resources. This should be Kyrgyzstan's biggest chance as a «water power».
